Arenas’ suspension

Christmas just passing, Gilbert Arenas was in the trouble. It was clear that he had stored unloaded guns in the Washington Wizards’ locker room.

Someone tried to suggest Arenas that he ought to be careful with his public words. Arenas dismissed the advice with a roll of the eyes and a cocksure insistence. ”I’m smarter than everyone else,” a witness heard him say, and no one needed to tell Arenas how to handle the public, the media, the storm closing fast on him. Finally, NBA commissioner David Arenas saved him from himself.

But agent Zero never believed that would be a big problem for him. Gilbert Arenas went away with his wizards jersey.

Favre is still fantacy at his 40

To celebrate last week’s victory, Brett Favre cocked his hat to the side.

His favorite greeting for unsuspecting teammates is a powerful slap on the backside that he has mischievously repeated countless times throughout the season. Oh, and he keeps peeling himself off the ground after each hard hit, his durability at age 40 still as sound as ever. Favre will become the oldest quarterback in NFL history to start a conference championship game in New Orleans on Sunday when the Vikings meet the Saints for a spot in the Super Bowl, but he’s sure not acting his age. “Brett’s amazing,” defensive end Jared Allen said. “He’s out there having fun and playing like he’s 20.”

All the players with vikings jerseys love Favre Brett.

Matt Stover had been in the Ravens but the team did not re-sign him this past season. This guy mow wears the colts jersey and to pur surprise, he decides to keep his family in Baltimore.

He will play the AFC divisional playoff game on Saturday night for Colts. Last weekend he was back to see his family and got some 'information' there. “They say ‘Matt, we’ll pray for you and your success, but I don’t know about your team,”’ he said. “I say ‘Thanks, but I’m praying for my team, too.”’Above all, it's a very different game that just like to play against some of his friends.

Stover said he is ok with Ravens' decision and he just focuses on the Colts' kickoff.

Chris Johnson is unique

Chris Johnson get none votes for MVP. He really deserves the 2,000-yard rusher from the Tennessee Titans and Colts' QB Peyton Manning whon won a wonderful fourth Most Valuable Player Award last week also on the list.

Johnson said it's good because he felt like if one put a seaon out there who got votes or the dudes who won, he would not feel they had a better season than he had and broke as many records in one season that he had. He won 50 votes from a nationwide panel of sports writers. Colts coach Mike Singletary said he’s a guy who’s always going to be around the ball. He has the instincts. He has the speed. He can be where he wants to be. Ilike Johnson's No. 28 titans jersey.

Cowboys hope Barber will play VS. Vikes

Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips is confident that running back Marion Barber will do his best to surpass a knee injury and play in Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game at Minnesota.

"He's been mad at me the last two years because I didn't let him play in the preseason game there," Phillips said, chuckling. "So I know he wants to play there just from that." Barber has never played in his home state as a professional, but his knee injury hold him many times in last weekend's wild-card victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and forced him to miss practice Wednesday. It's upset that can't see him wearing the dallas cowboys jersey on the field.

Barber was expected to practice Thursday.

Carroll enjoys his huge say

Pete Carroll has a huge thing to say about how to rebuild the Seatle Seahawks and how to coach the players wearing the seahawks jerseys.

Pete takes over the position as new coach and executive vice president Tuesday. And now he has the big auhority as the USC to refresh its dynasty. "They have embraced my approach ... in a manner in which they want to wipe the path clear and give me the clearest opportunity to bring everything that I have to offer," Carroll said of the Seahawks, one day after his public farewell from USC. "That's really what I was looking for, the trust and belief from the top of the organization.

The task of Pete at present is to make an agenda about how their football played.

Patriots have a long March

The New England Patriots are troubled in the water. Their season started with Tom Brady's back from injuries and ended with Wes Welker sitting out with the same injury.

The Pats waere beaten up by Baltimore Ravens with a 33-14 on Sunday. “What was there to be upbeat about?” New England coach Bill Belichick said Monday. It is no necessary to find the answer, or they may think how to deal with the team's many problems. First, Brady needs to improve after his knee injury if he wants to play as an elite again. Second, The rookies learn a lot this season and they will be well in the second round.

Each team will have their ups and downs, so do the Pats. These players with patriots jerseys will be more professional.

Packers bring confidence back to Arizona

The Green Bay Packers filled with confidence would meet the 'real' Cardinals.

The last NFC matchup will be played on Sunday and it would be the most intriguing one of the four wild-card games. The winner plays at New Orleans next weekend. The Packers have won seven of their last eight. “I don’t think there’s any question, outside of maybe some of the injuries that we have right now,” Warner said. “The way we’ve played this year, the consistency, the belief, the confidence, when we’ve played up to our potential, I think there’s no question we’re a better football team.” The two teams have met twice this season, which means they have never played each other at all.

It's the first time the Arizona would carry out a plan against the Packers. We will wait and see the 'real' players with cardinals jerseys.

Charges expect to be healthy

The San Diego Chargers had their temporary rest on Friday and tehy would be back for two days.

Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers thinks they would not interfere with weekend off and their 11-game winning streak which plays an important role for the fifth-longest regular-season streak.“We’ll get a nice weekend to kind of relax, and then we’ll be back in here Monday and get going,” Rivers said. “When you know the opponent you automatically turn it on that much more already. When you’re talking about three possible teams, you can still get work done as we have. The excitement is there, but then once you know who you're playing you really zero in. In the past weeks, they always started fast and tried their best at the very beginning.

Chargers now just need to protective themselves well and be healthy enough to face their playoff opener. I love chargers jerseys.

Cardinals' three king guys hurt

There are three significant guys with the ardinals jersey resting for injuries.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin has a sprained left ankle, defensive end Calais Campbell a broken left thumb and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie a bruised left kneecap. While Coach Ken Whisenhunt seemed confident that Campbell and Rodgers-Cromartie would be ok with the game against Green bay Sunday. "I'm always optimistic that we're going to have these guys because this is a playoff game and guys want to play," Whisenhunt said. "They understand that. The sense of urgency is definitely there. That's why I feel like you've got a chance of getting these guys back.' But Boldin sustained an MRI on Monday, so he was questionable for that game.

All the hurt happened during the 33-7 loss to the Packers.

Titans DT Brown miss the season finale vs. Seahawks

We won't see Tony Brown with his titans jersey in Sunday's season finale against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Titans defensive tackle met a knee problem. He has hurt his quadriceps during a Dec. 13 game against the St. Louis Rams. He said Friday that blood from that injury has leaked into the knee area, causing pain and swelling."It's just real stiff, and the range of motion is really hard to get," Brown said. "I had to warm it up, but it's been stiff on me." Brown said he hasn't been feeling like himself the past few games. "I would definitely be hurting the team if I go out there and can't finish the game," he said.

He may accept the cleanup surgery after the season.
